Bajaj Auto's much anticipated Pulsar 200SS has been spied testing again in India, fuelling speculations about the launch of the bike in the domestic market further.

Bajaj's Pulsar 200 SS has been rumoured for India launch quite some time now. Although the two-wheeler aficionados were expecting the bike at the Auto Expo 2014, Bajaj, the country's renowned two-wheeler manufacturer decisively kept it away from the throng. Now the folks at Motoroids have spotted fully faired Bajaj 200 SS in testing phase near Bajaj's Chakan, suggesting that the launch could happen anytime from now.

Bajaj has been seen testing a number of Pulsar bikes in India recently. Though the latest sighting of Pulsar 200SS does not reveal much details of the upcoming bike, rumours suggest that the new fully faired version of Pulsar 200NS will pack the retuned version of four-stroke, SOHC, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine of 200Ns. The 200NS is powered by a four-stroke, SOHC, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which has an output of 23.65 Bhp and a torque of 18.3 Nm. Other stipulated features of the bike include digital fuel injection system, optional ABS, monoshock suspension at the rear, telescopic forks at the front and projector headlamps.The bike is likely to carry a price tag higher than 200 NS and will be pitted against the Yamaha R15 V2.0 and Honda CBR150R.

Recently, Bajaj launched its Discover 125 in India. It packs 125cc 4-Valve Patented TwinSpark DTS-i engine which can pump in a power of 11.5 PS and a torque of 10.4Nm. The company claims a fuel efficiency of 76kmpl.

The next big thing in the domestic two-wheeler market from Bajaj is the launch of it's two brilliant bikes Pulsar SS400 (Super Sport 400) and Pulsar CS400 (Cruiser Sport 400). The CS 400 and SS 400 Pulsars which took the auto lovers by surprise at the Delhi Auto Expo, pack 375cc liquid-cooled, 4-valve triple spark engine and is mated to a six-speed transmission, with fuel injection.

Although the details of the availability and pricing of the bikes are scanty at this point of time, the Pulsar SS 400 is likely to fall in the price brackets of  INR1.9 and INR 2.1 lakhs (ex-showroom), while the other CS 400 is likely to come with a price tag of INR 1.7 to INR 1.85 lakhs (ex-showroom).
