Rumours surrounding "Bachelorette" stars Shawn Booth and Kaitlyn Bristowe's relationship suggest that the couple's wedding has been called off due to various issues, which include family opposition and over possessiveness.

Booth's family has reportedly conveyed to the personal trainer their decision to boycott the wedding if he goes ahead with it, as they feel Bristowe isn't the perfect partner for him. They also believe that Bristowe brings out the worst in him.

A Celeb Dirty Laundry source noted: "They think that Kaitlyn brings out the worst in Shawn – they hate seeing him a jealous and insecure mess. Shawn's Dad has told him that they won't be attending the wedding."

Elaborating on Booth's insecurity, another Celeb Dirty Laundry source pointed out that his jealousy was one reason why he did not want Bristowe to be a part of "Dancing with the Stars". Reportedly, Booth also believes that Bristowe spending long hours away from him could negatively affect their relationship, something similar to what happened between "The Bachelor" star Chris Soules and his then fiancée Whitney Bischoff.

"Shawn doesn't like to let Kaitlyn out of his sight, and the idea of her rehearsing all day long and working on a new show without him is not acceptable in his eyes. He hates the thought of her moving on to a new show without him, and hates the thought of her dancing all day with another man. He keeps pointing out that DWTS broke up Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff," the source said.

Neither Bristowe nor Booth has commented on the rumours, but Booth recently dismissed the reports by getting a tattoo similar to that of Bristowe's, and reaffirming his commitment to the relationship.

The Vancouver native has dove tattoos on her arms, and according to her, it symbolises her commitment to her family. Explaining why she chose the particular birds, Bristowe said doves are the only birds that remember to fly back home, and she likes the meaning behind that.
