Venkatesh's Babu Bangaram has successfully completed 50 day run in several theatres in September and it has collected a total of Rs 46.20 crore gross at the worldwide box office so far.

Babu Bangaram was released in cinema halls around the world on August 12 and received good response at the ticket counters. Despite getting mixed talk, the movie remained strong on the following days. The film clashed with several big-ticket movies including Janatha Garage in the following weeks, but it managed to fare well at the box office.

The Venkatesh and Nayathara starrer-has collected Rs 37 crore gross in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana box office. Babu Bangaram has grossed Rs 4.75 crore in Karnataka, Rs 3.25 crore in the US and Rs 1.20 crore in other parts of the world. The movie has collected a total of Rs 46.20 crore gross at the global box office in its lifetime. Trade experts say that this is the highest amount for a solo film of Venkatesh.

Babu Bangaram has been made with a whopping budget of Rs 28 crore and the movie fetched Rs 30 crore for the producers from the sale of its global theatrical rights. The film has earned Rs 27.59 crore for its distributors, who have suffered loss of some amount of their investments on it. The flick has incurred around 8 percent losses to them.
