After the long wait, the first teaser of SS Rajamouli directorial "Baahubali" was finally released on 30 May. The five-second teaser gave audience a glimpse of magnificence that is awaiting them. The teaser showed a war scene and the lead characters, played by Rana Dagubbati and Prabhas, were also introduced.

With the teaser release, audience can now look forward to the trailer of the movie, which is now scheduled to release on 1 June. Earlier, the makers of the movie had planned to hold the audio and trailer launch at a grand function at Hitex Exhibition Centre, Hyderabad, on 31 May. But the plans got changed because of security issues.

On 30 May (Saturday) morning, SS Rajamouli shared through his Twitter page the details of the teaser and the trailer release. The two-minute trailer of "Baahubali" will be released online as well as on all major TV channels on 1 June, whereas announcement regarding audio launch is yet awaited.

As part of the teaser release, Anushka Shetty, who plays the role of Devasana in "Baahubali", will also have a live chat session with her fans from 7.00 pm on 30 May.

Meanwhile, the posters of the movie, which were released earlier, had created waves among audience.

The posters introduced the lead characters of the movie, which include Prabhas as "Baahubali", Rana Daggubati as "Bhalladeva", Tamanna's character Avanthika, Sudeep's Aslam Khan, Sathyaraj's Kattappa, Nasser's Pingalathevan, Prabhakar's Kalakkeya, Ramya Krishna's Shivagami, Anushka Sharma's Devasena, and Prabhas' Shivudu.

"Baahubali" narrates the story of two brothers fighting for the throne and the film is being made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu languages with a budget of around ₹175 crore. The pre-release business, according to some reports, has already crossed the ₹100 crore mark.

The film had recently made headlines when Bengaluru-based music company Lahari Audio grabbed the music rights of the film for ₹3 crore, which is the highest ever for a Tamil or Telugu project.
