Critics' verdict about Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor starrer "Baaghi" is out. The film, which is an out-n-out action thriller with a pinch of romance, has received mixed reviews from critics.

"Baaghi," which is inspired from Indonesian film "The Raid: Redemption" and Telugu film "Varsham," is an action drama starring Tiger, Shraddha and Sudheer Babu in the lead roles. The film is directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.

"Baaghi" is a love story with hardcore action drama, but the storyline has not impressed the critics. The reviewers have said that the actors have performed excellently, but the only let down is the storyline.

Sarita A Tanwar of DNA said: "Baaghi is a high-octane masala feast. Watch it for Tiger Shroff - India's best young action hero by far."

Nandini Ramnath of Scroll.in said: "The 139-minute movie packs in songs and a grating comedy track performed by Sanjay Mishra and Sumit Gulati and even allows Sia to smash a few heads in, and it holds interest only when its rubber-bodied hero is on the screen."

Manjusha Radhakrishnan of Gulf News said: "Shroff does a stand-up job of executing hand-to-hand combat moves, but there's little else to look forward to. If you are looking for an all brawn and no brains feature, then watch Baaghi. Otherwise, it is wise to duck this missile of a movie."

Movie critic Taran Adarsh tweeted: "Watched #Baaghi. With focus on entertainment, this one is, without doubt, the best action film to come out of Bollywood in recent times. The fab locales of Kerala and Thailand make #Baaghi a visually stunning experience. #Baaghi has all the merits to hit the jackpot!"

Sreeju Sudhakaran of BollywoodLife.com said: "The first half is spent on their romance, with the villain being the third angle, along with Tiger's Kalaripayattu training portions. Though the romantic portions may seem cheesy to some, its enough to satiate the youngsters who have been thronging the morning show I was in."

Shomini Sen of News 18 said: "It's completely a @iTIGERSHROFF film which aims to highlight his talent in martial arts and dance. #Baaghi. The fight scene between Shroff and Sudheer Babu is pretty impressive other than some hilarious vfx. #Baaghi. There is really not much in the film apart from the fact that the characters perform mind-numbing stunts. #Baaghi"
