Filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia's upcoming film "Bhoole Se Naam Na Lo Pyaar Ka" seems to be jinxed. After all the confusion, it is now being said that Ayushmann Khurrana has replaced Imran Khan for the lead role in the film.

The Ekta Kapoor production flick has been delayed for long. The title of the film was first changed from "Milan Talkies", and then rumours had it that Huma Qureshi is going to play the female lead.

Later, the film also got postponed due to Imran's fee and other issues. Apparently, he demanded Rs 3 crore and wanted Priyanka Chopra to co-star in the film.

But it seems like his demands have cost him the film and now the makers, Balaji team and Tigmanshu, have replaced Imran with Ayushmann.

"Imran wanted Rs3 crore and it was working out to be a very expensive affair. No distribution team was willing to back such an expensive film, which would have to be sold at a very high price. Moreover, distributors told Balaji there would be no recovery for such a film at the given budget, forcing the Balaji team into doing a rethink on casting," DNA quoted a source.

The director and producer also felt that Bhumi Pednekar will be well suited for the role opposite Khurrana.

"Bhumi and Ayushmann have been approached and everything is almost finalised. Balaji's team felt they were best suited to play the lead pair in Bhoole Se..." an insider told DNA.

Meanwhile, Imran is busy promoting his latest flick "Katti Batti" with Kangana Ranaut.
