Last week, it was revealed that Taiwanese company Asus would launch three Asus Zenfone 2 series smartphones – Deluxe, Laser and Zenfone Selfie – at its ZenFestival 2015 held in New Delhi on 6 August.
To provide a better perspective on the upcoming Asus phones, we have briefly listed key features of the three smartphones, which will help users to make an informed decision while buying.
Asus Zenfone 2 Laser:
The key attribute of the new Asus Zenfone 2 Laser is its rear-side camera. It boasts a feature-rich 13mp camera with an advanced Laser guided auto-focus, the very same feature seen in 2015 marquee phone LG G4 and G3.
For the uninitiated, the laser-based, auto-focus feature measures the distance between the subject and the camera using a laser beam, enabling users to capture good quality photos under low-light conditions quickly.
Other stipulated features include 5.0-inch display and houses Snapdragon 410 series chipset, 2GB/3GB RAM and 16GB/32GB memory.
Zenfone 2 Deluxe:
The Zenfone 2 Deluxe is more like a novelty smartphone. It flaunts polygonal design with glossy-glass like segments. It is said feature around 500 tessellated triangles, giving crystal like effect on the cover similar to Oppo Mirror 5.
On the front, it sports a 5.5-inch full HD display and run on the Android 5.0 Lollipop backed by 2.3GHz Intel Atom processor Z3580 with PowerVR G6430 GPU, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage capacity (expandable via microSD card).
It also features a 13mp camera on the back, a 5mp snapper on the front and a 3000 mAh battery inside.
Asus Zenfone Selfie:
As the name suggests, the Zenfone Selfie's USP is its front-camera. It boasts a 13mp camera with f/2.2, 24mm wide angle , 5-prism Largan lens, Toshiba 1/3.2-inch sensor, Dual LED real-tone flash, HDR and low-light selfie feature.
And on the rear-side, Asus has incorporated an equally superior 13mp camera with Laser auto-focus feature like we see in Zenfone Laser device.
