Lee Majors will be introduced as Ash's father in "Ash vs Evil Dead" Season 2. Ash's father will teach him some important life lessons that might help a messed up Ash to have some discipline in his life and deal with the Deadites in a more efficient way.

According to Movie News Guide, Majors, 76, will be joined by other cast members in "Ash vs Evil Dead" Season 2, including Dana DeLorenzo and Ray Santiago, who will reprise their respective roles of Kelly and Pablo from Season 1. Undoubtedly, viewers are looking forward to find out what sort of role Majors will play as Ash's dad in Season 2.

Majors, who is known for his role as Col. Steve Austin in "Six Million Dollar Man," will play Ashley's (Bruce Campbell) father who is both annoying and wise and knows certain secrets about Ash.

However, Ash himself has no idea about it and he thinks that his father has turned into a lunatic.

One of the main reasons why Majors was chosen for playing the role of Ash's father was that apart from his acting skills, the facial structure of Majors is very similar to that of Ash, and they look like a father-son duo in reality; something to which the fans will definitely connect.

Undoubtedly, it would be an interesting addition to see Ash fighting against Deadites, while struggling with his father in "Ash vs Evil Dead" Season 2. The episode will also explore the past of Ash's life before he had first encountered the Deadites.

Ash will also learn a few things from his father, most importantly, being humble. Fans have been wondering after Season 1 whether Ash will ever stop the Deadite plague or not. With his father's lessons and newly-found patience, Ash might find a way to finally put an end to the Deadite terror.

The synopsis of Season 2 hints at a new trouble that awaits Ash as some mysterious sink holes have appeared out of nowhere in several parts of the world. The sink holes might be portals through which Deadites travel. However, their exact purpose has not been revealed yet.

"Ash vs Evil Dead" Season 2 is slated to air in the autumn of 2016. The release dates have not been confirmed yet.
