Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has expressed a desire to groove to the universally hit song "Gangnam Style."

The actor, who was formally bestowed with the honour of South Korean Goodwill Ambassador, appeared quite ecstatic at the event as he thanked the officials.

Speaking during the occasion, the 48-year-old spoke about South Korean singing sensation Psy, who took the globe by storm with his viral track "Gangnam style." Khan expressed his wish to perform on the song with the artist and said that the dance moves were similar to Bollywood.

"I would also love to dance to the tunes of 'Gangnam Style' with Psy. I think he has learnt that dance step from Bollywood," PTI quoted the actor.

"Gangnam Style" became popular globally, when it hit the internet in 2012.  It became the most viewed video on You Tube and its wacky choreography became a rage.

Khan, who has been named as the eighth goodwill ambassador of South Korea praised the nation for its technological edge and stated that he would love to shoot a film in the country and try to further India- South Korea relations.

Interestingly, Khan who is generally considered as the most prominent face of Bollywood overseas enjoys a massive fan base in South Korea as well.

"Om Shanti Om", "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi" and "My Name Is Khan" have been very well received by the Koreans.

"Shah Rukh Khan has a huge presence in the world including Korea," revealed Joon-Gyu Lee, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in India at the event.
