A number of apps have been updated on Google Play Store for Android users. While Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has finally entered the Android app market, the Humble Bundle 8 app is out from the Google Play Store. Opera is also said to create another browser, Opera Max, which uses less data.

Google has revealed its top 10 apps used this year, which was dominated mainly by Google led services. 

Following are the top 5 Android applications that are a must have this week.

Skype

Skype video calling app has been recently updated with some new features, such as a new organisational feature with a zooming out of letters and back in options and the multitasking feature while chatting.

The app is downloadable from Google Play Store for free and would take up the size depending on the device used. The Android OS required to operate the app is also based on the device used.

Ingress

Ingress is a real time augmented reality multiplayer online game, which has finally left behind its beta version. Users can stroll around town and hack portals and can also use certain strategy to move ahead, form alliances and do other things in the game.

Ingress is downloadable from Google Play Store for free and takes a size of 25MB of the device. The app requires Android 2.3 and up to run.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

San Andreas is still under the trending list because of its download numbers. The game is said to have a rough release in the beginning, however, Rockstar was quick enough to release the update patch.

San Andreas can be downloaded from Google Play Store for $6.99 or 390 and would take up a size of 2.4GB. The gaming app would require Android 3.0 and later OS to operate.

Zedge

Zedge has got an update to version 4.0 recently and has been made official now. The app includes a good collection of ringtones, notification sounds and high quality wallpapers for the users.

Different categories can be found in wallpapers and ringtones depending on user's interest.

Zedge app is free-to-download from the Google Play Store and will take up a minimal 4.6MB size in the device. The app requires Android 2.2 OS and later to operate.

Kindle

Amazon's Kindle app is said to improve in a slow pace. The user interface and performance have also been improved in the application. Some of the organisational features also give users an easy access to sort books.

Kindle can be downloaded from Google Play Store for free and would take a size depending on the device it is being used on. The app's Android OS requirement also varies with the device used.
