On an average, 80 percent of the film's tickets have been sold out in all screens for the first three days in Hyderabad, Jeevi, editor and reviewer of idlebrain, wrote on his Twitter page.

The advance booking was also good in Tamil Nadu, where the film is likely to get a thunderous opening on its first day. "#AtharintikiDaredi releasing Sep 27, expected 2 take good opening in Chennai. Advance booking is fantastic. Mayajaal holding 21 shows!" senior film journalist Sreedhar Pillai tweeted.

Apart from India, "Attarintiki Daredi" will hit the screens in key overseas markets including US, UK, Germany, Canada and Dubai. The film will have a solo big release in Telugu. Some small-budget films were expected to release on 27 September, but it seems the makers of those films are looking at different dates as they want to avoid a clash with a biggie like "Attarintiki Daredi".

The Pawan-starrer is expected to rake in good collections at the box office during the opening weekend, as the actor has a huge fan following. It remains to be seen if the film will be able to fare better than the other big budget family entertainer of the year - "Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu" (SVSC). "SVSC", which was released in January, was one of the biggest hits of 2013. After "SVSC", "Attarintiki Daredi" is deemed as the second big family entertainer of 2013 to hit the screens.

Expectations are riding high on the film, thanks to Pawan's star power and the film's impressive trailers. Recently, a new trailer of the film was released on video-sharing site YouTube. Looking at the video, one can confirm that the film is sure to entertain the masses. [To watch the video, click here]

"Attarintiki Daredi" has Samantha Ruth Prabhu playing the female lead. The film also has Praneetha, Ali, Brahmanandam and Nadiya among others.
