The action entertainer has already been declared a big hit in India as well as overseas markets. The film, as sequel to blockbuster "Singam", is about a righteous cop who is on a mission to crack down illegal drug dealers in Tamil Nadu.

Most of the star cast including Anushka Shetty, Vivek, Radharavi, Nassar and Yuvarani were retained in the second part. There were some new additions to the film - Santhanam, Hansika Motwani, Rahman, Mukesh Rishi and Hollywood actor Danny Sapani.

The success of "Singam 2" has urged director Hari to make the third part of the franchise. One has to wait to and watch if Hari comes up with another cop story for the popular franchise.
