Bollywood's Perfectionist Aamir Khan has revealed that he was happy that two of the industry's superstars - Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan - buried their past bitterness and greeted each other with a warm hug at a recent iftar party.

"Jab dosti hoti hai, aur log gale milte hai to acchi baat hai. Mujhe bahut khushi hoti hai. Aur mujhe badi khushi hai (when friendships are struck and people hug each other, it's a good thing. It makes me very happy. I am very pleased (about the hug)," Hindustan Times quoted Aamir as saying.

Aamir made the comments while attending the premier of "Issaq" in Mumbai a couple of days ago. Shah Rukh also attended the premier but they could not meet as they came at different timings.

Although Shah Rukh and Salman had maintained silence about the entire "handshake and Hug" episode, Aamir was one of the biggest stars of the industry to comment on the much publicised patch up reports.

On Sunday, Shah Rukh and Salman shared a warm hug at an iftar party hosted by Congress leader and Bandra MLA Baba Siddique, at a five-star hotel in Mumbai. Their hug created a lot of buzz.

While Salman has made no comments till date, Shah Rukh took it to Twitter on the night after the party and said, "Finally u realize turning the page is the best feeling in the world, becos there is so much more to the book than the page u were stuck on, (sic)."

Although the fans of both actors believed that the duo would give a fresh start to their friendship after the incident, much to everyone's disappointment, the "Dabangg" actor's father Salim Khan opined that he didn't see an ever-lasting friendship between Shah Rukh and Salman.
