The male lead for Sherlyn Chopra starrer 'Kamasutra 3D' has been finally confirmed.
Director Rupesh Paul, speaking at the 66th Cannes Film Festival where the second trailer of the film was released, said after much struggle, they have finally zeroed in on model King Malkhan. Malkhan to play the role of 'Naga sanyasi' in the erotic film.
"We found more than 20 actresses, who agreed to act with frontal nudity, but could not get a single male actor, who is famous, ready for the role," said Paul on the selection of actors.
"We had short-listed five actors in November last year and gave them specific requirements for the character. We did three-stage auditions with these actors and out of them King Malkhan was more impressive."
The director praised the model for his hardwork and dedication, "Since the movie had a lot of action sequences and martial arts like kalarippayattu, training was important. He made a lot of effort in voice training also. And he impressed me by getting rid of his six-pack to become a naga sanyasi in the movie," said Paul.
Sherlyn has been in the news ever since the conception of the daring project. And now with the male lead announced, audiences are anticipating to see the 29-year-old actress sizzle on the screen.
The bold and daring first look of the film drew attention to Sherlyn, who posed nude for the Playboy magazine cover last year.
