Indian smartphone maker Micromax is high on success following the record breaking sales of its A116 Canvas HD. And now, the company has caught the tech world off guard on Thursday when the specifications of two upcoming big screen smartphones leaked online.

Seeking to cash in on the rising popularity of A116 Canvas HD, Micromax is reportedly working on the successor of the smartphone dubbed A120 Canvas HD Pro. According to reports, A120 Canvas HD Pro would sport a 5.5-inch Full-HD capacitive (1920×1080 pixels) display backed by a quad-core Cortex A7 processor with PowerVR Series 5XT GPU.

Other rumoured specifications include Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean operating system, 2GB RAM and 8GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 64GB, 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, 3.2-megapixel front-facing camera and a 3,000mAH battery. The smartphone is speculated to be launched around the end June or by early July for around ₹20,000.

The next phablet said to be in the pipeline is the A110Q Canvas. According to the phablet's specifications leaked by Droid Extram, the device will sport a 5-inch FWVGA display powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6589 A7 processor and will run on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean operating system. Besides seeing a release sometime this year, not much has been said about A110Q Canvas.
