'Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyindhe' Box Office Collection: Nithin Starrer Earns ₹55 lakh in 2 Days Overseas

Actor Nithin's "Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde" has opened to a good response from moviegoers from across the globe.

"Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde" which was released on 19 April has received great reviews from critics. After the success of his last movie "Ishq", Nithin has been paired with Nithya Menen once again in "Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde". Their chemistry has worked out well and their performance has won accolades from various quarters.

The movie has earned a total of $103,015 (around ₹55 lakh) on 23 screens during the first two days of the opening weekend at the US box office collection. "Telugu film #GundeJaariGallanthayyinde is faring exceptionally well in USA. Fri $ 33,337, Sat $ 69,678 on 23 screens. Very good!" trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted on his microblogging site, twitter.

"Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde" is a story about Karthik (Nithin) who gets smitten by Sruthi (Isha Talwar) during their first meet at a friend's marriage. He manages to get Sruthi's phone number and woos her, but later discovers that he has called the wrong girl - Shravya (Nithya), the daughter of a rich businessman who is very romantic and wants to get married to a guy who loves her for her character and not for her money. This leads to some interesting twists and surprises presented in an entertaining format, laced with a high dose of comedy.

Besides the lead pair, the movie's star cast includes Madhunandan, Aali, Thagubotu Ramesh, Sandhya Janak, M S Narayana, Raghu Babu, Ahuti Prasad and Pragathi. Badminton player Jwala Gutta appears in an item song. One of the main attractions of the movie is Nithin's dance with Pawan Kalyan (graphical work) in a remix song.

"Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyindhe" is directed by debutant Vijay Kumar Konda. The film's score is composed by Anup Ruebens and Harsha Vardhan has penned the tunes.
