‘Vishwaroopam’ Box Office Collection: Kamal Haasan Starrer Collects ₹8 Crore Overseas in 17 Days
Kamal Haasan's controversial film "Vishwaroopam" is still drawing audiences in its third week at the overseas box office.

After its third weekend, the Tamil version of the mega-budget film collected ₹25.50 lakh (£ 30,231) from 21 screens in the UK and ₹32.31 lakh ($ 59,953) from 32 screens in the US.
The Telugu version collected ₹8.64 lakh ($ 16,047) from 15 screens in the US, according to trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh.
The overseas total of the film after the third weekend stands at ₹8.74 crore.
Following the success of "Vishwaroopam", the makers of the film have already planned a sequel to the movie. The film was made on a budget of ₹95 crore and fetched more than ₹100 crore in India.
In India, the film has crossed the ₹100 crore mark after four days of its release in Tamil Nadu, where it was banned for two weeks.
Rahul Bose, who plays the antagonist in the spy thriller, tweeted on Monday that the film has made over ₹120 crore at the Indian box office.
"Just received figures of the all india box office collections of vishwaroopam. 120 crores and counting. Superb! Vishwaroopam's the first film I've been a part of that's made over 100 crores. Congratulatuions to the team and mr haasan especially!" he wrote.
The controversial film is directed and co-produced by Kamal Haasan and has Rahul Bose, Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah, Jaideep Ahlawat, Shekhar Kapur in supporting roles.
