Celebrities Galore at US Presidential Election Campaign [PHOTOS]

Many would mistake the United States presidential elections campaigns for musical concerts or a Hollywood award event as celebrities were seen everywhere either rallying for Democrat candidate Barack Obama or Republican rival Mitt Romney.

The presidential elections campaign was put on halt for a couple of days after the eastern part of the country was hit by the Hurricane Sandy that killed over 90 people and damaged hundreds of houses and property.

Big personalities from film producers to actors to writers to singers rallied for their favourite candidates till the last day of campaigning on Monday.

President Barack Obama has a long line of celebrities like Bruce Springsteen, George Clooney, Madonna, Stevie Wonder, Katy Perry, Harvey Weinstein, Jay-Z, Marc Anthony, Pearl Jam, Chris Rock, Foo Fighters, Beyonce, Kathy Griffin, Cher, Neil Diamond, Jennifer Lopez, Julianne Moore, Eva Longoria, Will Ferrell, Scarlett Johansson and others campaigning for him.

Mitt Romney and running mate Paul Ryan have their fair share of famous fans including Clint Eastwood, Kid Rock, Kelsey Grammar, Chuck Norris, Honey Boo Boo, Meat Loaf, Donald Trump, Jack Nicklaus and country music stars the Oak Ridge Boys and Lee Greenwood.

Republican candidate Mitt Romney is not far behind. He has the support of celebrities like Kid Rock, Clint Eastwood, Oak Ridge Boys, Kelsey Grammar, Lee Greenwood Meatloaf, Chuck Norris, Honey Boo Boo, Donald Trump, Jack Nicklaus and others.

This year's presidential elections is tipped to be one of the closest contest in years with the candidates evently placed in the recent presidential debates.

The United States go to the poll on Tuesday to elect a new President.
