Since he broke out into the music scene when he was 13-year-old, girls all over the world continue to pile up for Justin Bieber. But during his interview with Ryan Seacrest, is he hinting on leaving his teen heartthrob status?

The now 18-year-old singer hints that he is ready to level up after 5 years in the music business. With pressures surrounding him and those who less likely take him seriously, is the "Baby" singer ready for some major overhaul?

On his upcoming interview with Ryan Seacrest on "The Today Show," Justin says that he is ready to prove that there is more to him than just being a teen heartthrob.

"I feel like I just don't want to be another teen heartthrob. I just think that just annoys me. To think that's what people will - will think of me - or, like, I just want to prove people wrong," Bieber said.

Justin, who owns a large teenage fan base, admits that he gets annoyed at people when they try to restrict him solely on the teen category.

"My new album 'Believe' has really showcased what I'm capable of - especially becoming an 18 year old, and becoming an adult," Justin added. "And hearing older people say, 'Wow, this new album's great. Like I didn't know that was Justin Bieber,'"

And like most music artists, he also dreams of winning a Grammy award someday.

"That's something that I've always - when I was little, like, 'Oh my God, like what if I won a Grammy?' That would be crazy,'" he said. "So that's one of the things that I'm still striving for."

Justin is currently in Germany to promote his new album. Earlier today he performed on stage at The Squaire at Frankfurt airport.
