Aquaman's filming has begun in full swing. After reports about Aquaman Jason Momoa joining the crew in Australia last month made headlines, James Wan has confirmed that Mera actress Amber Heard has joined the crew and started shooting for her role as well.
Director James Wan took to Instagram to share the first official look of Aquaman's love interest Amber. Walking out of a pool of water in her costume, the actress is dripping sexiness as she shows off her curves in the attire. Looking at her, anybody could fall in love with her!
Wan shared the picture of the Aqua-love dressed in her aqua green attire.
The highlight of the picture is the Aquaman logo that finds a place on her waist. Captioning the picture, the director announced Heard's first day on the location.
"Lady MERA swept in from the sea. First day with the exquisite @amberheard. (Shot by the talented @jasinboland)," the DC director wrote as he posted the picture.
The green, algae-esque outfit of Mera differs in a few ways from her Justice League look.

Heard was equally excited about her arrival at the filming location. Sharing her contagious energy online, the actress tweeted out the picture of herself in the role, introducing her character to her fans.

Before introducing Mera, Heard shared a picture from her dressing room, preparing to head to the filming location. In the picture, she is seen wearing a cool pair of blue jeans and white shirt reading an Aquaman comic book, obviously finishing her last minute preparation.
Posting the picture, she wrote, "Over a year of prep, 6 months of training, & countless hrs of denying myself pleasure, aka donuts, has led to this moment: Day 1. #Aquaman"

In all the pictures shared, the Aquaman star looked prepared to kick some a** and she looks like a complete badass.
Mera and Aquaman will be seen in Justice League releasing on November 17 this year followed by Aquaman slated to release on December 21, 2018.
