The latest buzz in the industry is that actor Suriya will now sing for his upcoming film "Anjaan" directed by N. Lingusamy. The actor had earlier sung a jingle for a coffee brand. But this is the first time he will sing a song for a film. The song composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja is said to be breezy peppy number and is said to start with the lines "Ek Do Theen."

"Suriya was immediately game for singing in the film when we told him the idea. He even started practicing the number. Once this song gets recorded, the entire album will be ready. We are planning to launch the music in a grand manner later this month," said Subhash Chandrabose, the co-producer of "Anjaan" to Times of India.

The teaser of "Anjaan" was earlier announced to be released on 5 July but its associate producer Dhananjayan Govind later declared that it will be released within two weeks as a trailer since the censor certificate does not have the concept of teaser.

Though the exact date of the trailer release is not yet announced, it is expected to be on the audio launch day of the film. The function will take place as a grand event in Chennai on 17 July. The songs of the film are written by Na. Muthukumar and the music is bagged by Sony Music South.
