The grapevine has it that Angelina Jolie did not want husband Brad Pitt to attend George Clooney's wedding. Reportedly, Jolie "does not like" Clooney and his wife Amal Alamuddin.

The report has originated from Star Magazine, which suggests that the two ladies are "feuding." The magazine has Jolie and Alamuddin on its cover and it reads "Amal & Angie, why they hate each other. The real reason Angie snubbed Amal's wedding."

The tabloid reports that jealousy was brewing between the two ladies, further claiming that Jolie had "forbidden" Pitt from attending Clooney's wedding celebrations in Italy.

"Angie vetoed the trip at the last minute. She wanted to pull a power play and diss Amal. For all her charity work, Angie is deeply insecure, self-absorbed and calculating. It eats at her that Amal is everything she isn't: educated, well-bred, respected and in an earned position of power," an alleged insider told the magazine, reports Business 2 Community.

There is no confirmation of this rumour. Moreover, Clooney's rep has recently denied reports that Alamuddin and Jolie are fighting, as reported by Entertainementwise. The website suggests that these rumours seem fabricated as the two ladies have "never met." Moreover, when they both were invited to attend the United Nations' Global Summit to End Sexual Violence in Conflict, in London, they were reportedly seated far away from each other and never crossed each other's path.

The wedding miss has given rise to speculations hinting at the alleged fight between the two couples. However, when Pitt was asked about his reason for skipping his "Ocean's 11" co-star's nuptials, he said he was busy shooting his wife's film "By The Sea" in Malta. Jolie also stars in the film.

Pitt also spoke about his camaraderie with the Oscar winner saying that he was fun to be around. "Well, you know, George is extremely accessible. He's one of our best representatives. I guess maybe I'm more of a miserable bastard. I'm a bit of a loner you know? I'm more quiet by nature," he told GQ magazine.
