Google has commenced rolling out its Android 4.4.2 Kitkat OS update to its LG G Pad 8.3 and HTC One Google Play Edition handsets.

Both updates are currently available Over The Air (OTA) but users can still check for manual updates if they missed out the update notification. The Android 4.4.2 Kitkat OS update for tablet takes up 56MB size, which is similar to other Android 4.4.2 Kitkat OS updates made available for other Nexus devices.

HTC also posted the kernel source and framework support files for its HTC One Google Play Edition, soon after which the reports of update rolling out surfaced, reported Droid Life.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition, which came out along with the HTC One Google Play Edition, has already received the Android update, according to Gazelle.
