Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan and lyricist Javed Akhtar unveiled the Urdu Lounge book "Talash Insaan Ki", by police commissioner Satyapal Singh on 15 October, at Ranga auditorium in Bandra.
At the same event, the "Kaun Banega Crorepati" host launched another book titled "Drive Safe Mumbai", which educates people about the traffic rules.
Apart from Big B and Javed , rural and development minister Jayant Patil was also present at the event.
"I want to say that I am not that worthy, I just consider myself a very normal human being, a small part of this small industry. And, if from our work, our face or our voice a change can come in the society, than I am always ready to do that," Big B said speaking during the launch event.
While the event was a happy one, there was a tinge of adventure too. Amitabh and the other VIP guests reportedly got stuck in the elevator while going to the ground floor. The elevator is said to have got stuck halfway due to excessive presence of guests in it. The mishap was averted when policemen informed the fire brigade and the guests were then brought out safely.
