Tamil actor Udhaya has become a proud father of a baby boy. His wife Keerthika delivered the baby on Thursday, 6.10 am at a private hospital. While the couple has become parents with the arrival of the baby, actress Amala Paul, who is the sister-in-law of the actor, has become an aunt.
The news was first revealed by the proud father on Twitter. "Hiiiiiii friends I'm blessed with baby boy today morning at 6.10am...feeling proud and happy..." Udhaya tweeted. "I'm really happy to get a baby boy on my saibaba day...Sairam. ...Sairam. ..Sairam. ..."
Wishes on the micro-blogging site have started pouring in after Amala Paul congratulated him Udhaya on Twitter. The actress, who married his brother and director Vijay a few months ago, posted, "Hw wonderful it is to hear abt your new arrival. Welcme to life our little prince! Congrats to my dear sis Keerthi & bro"
Udhaya was quick to responded. "thank u soooooo much Amala.. In our family one more prince arrival," the actor said. She later posted an image of the baby and said: "Such happy feelings, such a small human being. Nothing brings home so much love !! One more to call me 'Ammu Chithi.'"
Udhaya married Keerthika on 24 August 2007 in Chennai. He is the son of actor, and producer A.L. Azhagappan.
Udhaya's Career
Udhaya started his career in the film "Thirunelveli" produced by leading producer RB Choudary. His debut film turned out to be an average outing. Since then, he has acted in close to 10 films. He has garnered positive reviews for his performance in his movies but tasting commercial success has been his distant dream.
