Jacqueline Fernandez made a mark into Bollywood with Salman Khan's "Kick" released last year, but apparently the actress has been kick'ed out from the sequel to the blockbuster film.

During a Bollywood award ceremony AIBA 2015 (Arab Indo Bollywood Awards) in Dubai, Salman revealed the plans of working with "Kick" director Sajid Nadiadwala and the lead actress of his prequel film.

"Sajid and I will work together then... whenever it happens. However, there will be no Jacqueline. She has been 'Kick'ed out. Now we will find someone else," Salman reportedly said during the award ceremony, according to Mid-Day.

Rumours had been doing the rounds that all is not well between Salman and Jacqueline, who become more-than-friends during "Kick" shooting. And the "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" actor's latest statement added fuel to the fire.

"Salman may have made this statement in his inimitable humorous style, but it is a tell-tale sign of things not being well between him and Jacky. Salman is known to reveal what is on his mind through his trademark wisecracks," the tabloid quoted a source as saying.

Earlier, Jacqueline was roped in to do an item number in Salman's production venture "Hero". However, the latest reports suggest that the special song has been shelved from the film.

Meanwhile, the director Sajid has reportedly registered the title for the sequel. According to reports, Sajid has already registered the title of "Devil".

"Sajid has registered the title because he feels it is very catchy and popular. People have loved the song and after Kickreleased, many even thought that the sequel would be called Devil, given that Salman played Devil in the film", DNA quoted a source as saying.
