Reports suggest that VV Vinayak has been roped in to direct Akhil Akkineni in his debut film. "Pre-production activities have started in full swing, and the project will be officially announced soon. Akhil's debut has become the talk of the town for quite some time now. There were several names that were doing the rounds but Vinyak has been handed over the responsibility. Let's hope that he presents Akhil in an out-and-out action entertainer," according to 123Telugu.

VV Vinayak is one of the ace filmmakers in Telugu film industry, who has been successful in impressing the audience with his direction and scripting.
