The makers of Ajith Kumar's next film, which is presently referred to as "Thala 57," seem to have taken special interest in promoting their movie on social media sites. It becomes evident after they plan to launch separate social media handles for their upcoming Tamil flick.

Well, the makers have decided to create separate social media handles for "Thala 57" and it will be revealed on Friday, May 27. Production house Sathya Jyothi Films tweeted: "Official Social Media Handles of #Thala57 will be revealed Today @ 05:07pm. Stay Tuned :). [sic]" Very rarely a Tamil movie will have official social media accounts and it is for the first time an Ajith film is having it.

Usually, the handles of the production house or director serve as official social media handles of their films. Ajith has a massive fan following online and having separate social media handles are expected to benefit the film.

"Thala 57" is written and directed by Siruthai Siva, who is teaming up with Ajith for the third time after "Veeram" and "Vedalam." Anushka Shetty, who had worked with the actor in "Yennai Arindhaal," is reportedly playing the female lead and Karunas is reportedly doing an important role in the flick.

Anirudh Ravichander has been signed to score the music for "Thala 57." He announced: "Excited to score for Ajith sir and @directorsiva yet again :) #Thala57 Love, Anirudh. [sic]" It has to be noted that he had scored the music for Ajith and Siruthai Siva's previous film "Vedalam." Other cast and crew are yet to be finalised.

The regular shooting of "Thala 57" will begin in July. Major part of the film will be shot in Europe, U.S. and Slovenia. The makers are planning to release the movie in April 2017.
