GV Prakash Kumar will team up with Ajith after a long time. Latest reports suggest the music director has bagged the actor's next movie, which is at pesent titled as "Thala 56".
Rumour has it that director Siruthai Siva approached the musician and offered him to work on the project. Prakash reportedly gave his consent to compose music for the forthcoming Tamil movie.
GV Prakash Kumar had earlier composed for Ajith's "Kireedam" directed by Vijay. A few songs from the movie were received well by the audience. Now, after eight years, they are likely to team up once again.
Meanwhile, "Thala 56" was supposed to begin its shooting this month, but Ajith Kumar decided to take a break as he wanted to spend some time with his pregnant wife Shalini.
The latest reports state filming for "Thala 56" will begin in April. The film will hit the floors with a formal pooja on Tamil New Year, 14 April. The film will be bankrolled by AM Rathnam. It should be noted it will be a hatrick for the producer after making "Arrambam" and "Yennai Arindhaal" with the actor in the lead roles.
However, actress for the female lead role has also not been finalised even though the names of Hansika Motwani and Shruti Haasan have been doing the rounds. Other cast and crew members are also yet to be finalised.
Meanwhile, Ajith's "Yennai Arindhaal" has been declared as an above-average hit at the box office. The movie, directed by Gautham Menon, has Trisha Krishnan and Anushka Shetty in the female lead roles. Arul Vijay is the antagonist in the action-thriller.
