Jayam Raja and Vijay had earlier worked in "Velayudham" a few years ago. It was a remake of Telugu movie "Azad" starring Nagarjuna. But now the director seems to be interested to make an original subject after the big success of "Thani Oruvan".

According to recent rumours, Jayam Raja was game for his Bollywood debut. He was reportedly getting ready to remake "Thani Oruvan," which turned out to be one of the biggest hits on 2015 in Tamil film industry, in Hindi in which Salman Khan was supposed to star. Now, it appears like his B-town plans have taken a backseat as he is planning to work with Vijay.

Meanwhile, Vijay is busy with his untitled 59th movie directed by Atlee Kumar after Chimbu Deven's mega-budget movie "Puli". After completing the movie, he will reportedly team up with SJ Suryah with whom he had a big hit in the form of "Kushi". This film is likely to be bankrolled by AM Rathnam.

Thus, Vijay would be able to work with Jayam Raja only after the completion of those movies.
