Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam are set to appear on the big screen together for the first time with Sanjay Gupta's "Kaabil." The recent buzz is that Ronit Roy has been roped in to play villain in this flick, which is scheduled to be released on Jan. 26, 2017.

Ronit has always mesmerised the audience with his performance on-screen and has also won hearts in negative roles. Last time he was seen playing the character of villain in Akshay Kumar's "Boss," which was released in 2013. And now, the actor is set to entertain viewers as a baddie in "Kaabil," according to Spotboye.com.

A few days ago, Rakesh Roshan, who is producing his son's film, revealed the film's cast and crew. "We've Yami Gautam paired with Hrithik. The film also stars Ronit Roy, Sonu Sood and Girish Kulkarni. My brother Rajesh Roshan will do the music, as usual. The cinematography is by Sudeep Chatterjee and the sound design is by Resul Pookutty," Rakesh told skjbollywoodnews.com.

In the film, Yami and Hrithik reportedly play visually impaired characters. The plot of the film revolves around Hrithik's character, who wishes to avenge his girlfriend's rape and murder. Some reports have said that the storyline of "Kaabil" is quite similar to that of Salman Khan's "Buland."

However, Rakesh rubbished the reports. "I don't pay any attention to such things. As far as I am concerned the story came to us from Vijay Mishra. And that is that," he said.

As per the storyline, Yami's part will be over before interval. This is not the first time that Yami is appearing in a film for a short period. In "Badlapur" and "Action Jackson" as well, the "Sanam Re" actress played a brief role.

However, Yami is excited about this romantic drama and had shared her excitement on Twitter as well. "Can't wait to commence this journey @iHrithik ! Super elated to be working with you ! Let's go !!" Yami had tweeted.
