Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (ADHM) and Shivaay (Shivay) have completed 21 days at the box office and the former's collection stands ahead of the Ajay Devgn-starrer like it was since the opening day.

Both the movies have passed the 3rd week at the Indian box office. While collection of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has now surpassed Rs 110 crore nett at the domestic market, Shivaay is still struggling to cross the Rs 100 crore mark.

Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil had witnessed excellent jump in its earning post the Diwali celebrations. Shivaay too had witnessed impressive rise in its collection, but the romantic drama has been ahead of the former all through the box office clash.

In spite of the demonetisation, which is believed to have hampered the box office business of all subsequent films, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil continued making decent money at the Indian market. The film's 21 days total collection now stands at Rs 110.21 crore nett by the end of 3rd Thursday.

"#ADHM [Week 3] Fri 70 lacs, Sat 1.19 cr, Sun 1.51 cr, Mon 52 lacs, Tue 49 lacs, Wed 48 lacs, Thu 46 lacs. Total: 110.21 cr. India biz. HIT," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

On the other side, Ajay's action thriller Shivaay is gradually inching close to Rs 100 crore at the domestic market. The film's 21 days total nett collection stands at Rs 98.15 crore. Shivaay is likely to cross the 100 crore mark by the end of the 3rd weekend.

Three major Bollywood movies, apart from some other low budget films, have released after Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Shivaay had hit the screens. But that could not hamper the business of the two big budget movies.

After Rock On 2, the latest Hindi films to have released are Force 2 and Tum Bin 2. While Rock On 2 failed to put much impact at the box office, Force 2 and Tum Bin 2 also reportedly opened on a poor note. Hence, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Shivaay are likely to continue running at the theatres for some more days.
