HTC One M9 To Have A Windows Version Too, Likely Windows 10: Report

2014 saw the release of many big devices like Samsung Galaxy S5, HTC (One M8), iPhone 6, Samsung Galaxy Note 4, LG G3, Sony Xperia Z3, Nexus 6, and Microsoft Lumia 930; the successors to these phones are expected to make things exciting this year.

To be precise, gadget lovers will have the luxury of choosing between flagship devices like Samsung Galaxy S6, HTC One (M9), iPhone 7, Samsung Galaxy Note 5, LG G4, Sony Xperia Z4, and Microsoft Lumia 940 among others, as they are expected to be launched in the next few months.

Here are seven best smartphones (not in particular order) you can buy in 2015:

1. Samsung Galaxy S6:

It is the successor to the Galaxy S5 and is expected to be unveiled at its "Unpacked 2015" event on 1 March. It may come with features like Exynos 7420 processor, Android 5.0 Lollipop, 1440 x 2560 pixels, 20MP main camera and 5MP front snapper, and 32GB of internal memory and 3GB RAM, according to AnTuTu benchmark as reported by Chinese website CNMO (via Phone Arena) It is likely to come with a 5.5-inch screen. 

2. iPhone 7:

The device is expected to be announced in the third quarter of 2015. It is likely to have several feature upgrades over its predecessor, the iPhone 6, like A9 processor, 14MP main camera and 4MP front snapper, screen protected by sapphire crystal glass, chassis made of liquid metal and 2GB RAM.

3. HTC One (M9):

It is expected to be unveiled on 1 March at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2015 (MWC 2015) in Barcelona. HTC leaker @upleaks claimed that the device will boast of features like a 5-inch Full HD display with 1920 x 1080 screen resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 20.7MP main camera and 13MP or UltraPixel 4MP front snapper, 3GB RAM, 2840mAh battery, HTC Sense 7, and Android 5.0 Lollipop. However, BGR (via 4G News) reported that the device would sport a 5.5-inch display with quad HD resolution screen, 3,000 mAh battery and fingerprint scanner.

4. Samsung Galaxy Note 5:

Expected to be unveiled in the second half of 2015, the Galaxy Note 4 successor may come with features like a 5.9-inch display with 4K screen display and Ultra HD screen resolution, Exynos 7420 processor, 16GB to 128GB internal memory with microSD card up to 128GB, and 18MP main camera and 6 or 7MP front snapper, according to 4K website. 

5. Sony Xperia Z4:

The Japanese technology giant is expected to announce the Xperia Z3 successor at the MWC 2015 to be held between 2 and 5 March, 2015. GSMArena reported that it would have features like Snapdragon 810 processor, Android 5.0 Lollipop, 5.2-inch 1440 x 2560px Triluminos display, water resistance, 20.7MP camera, and 3,400mAh battery.

There were also reports that it would sport a 5.4-inch or 5.5-inch screen, and have features like Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, Android 5.0 Lollipop, 32GB internal memory and 4GB RAM, 20.7MP main camera and 4.8MP front snapper, 3420 mAh battery, and Qi Wireless.

6. LG G4:

The G3 successor is likely to be unveiled in May despite rumours that it would see the light of the day at the upcoming MWC 2015 in March. It is expected to have features such as a 5.7 inch HD –IPS +LCD display, 3/4GB RAM with microSD card up to 128GB, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801/802/805/808, Android 5.0 Lollipop, and 15 to 17MP main camera and 3 to 4MP front snapper, according to The REM.

However, iKnow Today claimed that the device would sport a 5.5-inch or 5.9-inch display with 2/4K screen resolution, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 or 810 processor and house a 3500 mAH battery. 

7. Microsoft Lumia 940 aka Lumia McLaren:

Microsoft's upcoming flagship smartphone is expected to be much more superior to its predecessor, the Lumia 930. According to Phone Arena, Microsoft's next-generation smartphone may sport a 5-inch full-HD (1920x1080) screen protected by Gorilla Glass 4, powered by Snapdragon 805 processor clocking at 2.7GHz, and run on Windows Phone 10.

It added that the device will come packed with 32/64 or 128GB storage and 3GB RAM, and 24MP PureView camera and 5MP front snapper.
