Three leading producers of Kollywood have filed complaints against Sivakarthikeyan for failing to keep his commitments. This comes in the wake of the actor accusing some people in the industry of creating hurdles for his recently-released Remo.

PL Thenappan, the general secretary of Tamil Nadu Producers Council, has told a website that K E Gnanavelraja of Studio Green, Madan of Escape Artists and Vendhar Movies Madhan have filed formal complaints accusing the actor of taking advance amounts to act in their films, but failing to fulfil his commitments.

Among the three, KE Gnanavel Raja has an agreement copy of their deal, while the other two do not have the same. On the other hand, the website adds that Sivakarthikeyan has admitted to have taken the advance amount from Gnanavel Raja, but there is no mention of the other two.

Meanwhile, the producers' guild is expected to organise a meeting between the actor and the producers to sort out the issues. The fans of Sivakarthikeyan hope that the issue will be amicably solved soon.

Coming back to the issue, Sivakarthikeyan made a shocking statement at the success meet of Remo recently when he claimed that a few people tried hard to create roadblocks for his recently-released movie and they are creating trouble to curtail his growth.

His emotional speech became a talk of the town and Simbu and Vishal, the general secretary of Nadigar Sangam, extended their support to Sivakarthikeyan.

Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan's Remo has turned out to be a big hit at the Tamil Nadu box office. The movie, which was released on October 7, has minted over Rs 41 crore in the state. This is his second major hit in the year after Rajini Murgan.
