After a lull, the makers of "Dhoom 3" have released the trailer of the film just a couple of days before Rakesh Roshan's ambitious film "Krrish 3" hits theatres. Aamir Khan and Abhishek Bachchan were present at the trailer launch event on Wednesday, but the absence of lead actress Katrina Kaif and Uday Chopra raised many eyebrows.
Aamir looked young and fresh in a body-hugging T-shirt and a matching black hat, at the "Dhoom 3" trailer launch. Abhishek made it to the event despite the injury to his left elbow which he sustained while working out in the gym.
Katrina Kaif could not make it to the trailer launch, as she was busy shooting with Saif Ali Khan in Beirut for Kabir Khan's next film. Uday Chopra is reportedly holidaying with his alleged girlfriend Nargis Fakhri in Los Angeles and hence couldn't make it to the event.
The two-minute, 45-second-long trailer featuring all the lead actors has created much hype among film lovers. Aamir is seen performing some breathtaking stunts, including running down a skyscraper and bringing down his opponent as he is ridding a bike. Katrina is also seen doing some acrobatic moves.
The makers of the film had released a teaser on YouTube last month which fetched more than 1.2 crore views. Entertainment TV channel Zoom had earlier reported that producer Aditya Chopra was planning to start promoting "Dhoom 3" aggressively after the release of "Krrish 3".
"Dhoom 3", directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, is the third installment of the "Dhoom" series and is schedule to release on 20 December.
The film will battle it out with Rajinikanth's "Kochadaiiyaan" and Salman Khan's "Jai Ho" at the box office. "Kochadaiiyaan" will be released a week before "Dhoom 3" and "Jai Ho" is likely to be released on 31 December.
