"Attarintiki Daredi" opened to a massive response on the first day of its release, registering 100 percent occupancy in several screens across Andhra Pradesh. The film raked in more than ₹10 crore in Andhra on its opening day. The Pawan Kalyan starrer earned a total share of ₹5.74 crore on its second day in the state, according to film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

"Attarintiki Daredi" has earned more than ₹16 crore in two days at the AP box office. Telugu film producer Sreenivasa Kumar (SKN) has tweeted that "Attarintiki Daredi" has crossed the ₹20 crore mark in two days of its release. The first weekend collections (27-29 September) of the film are yet to be declared. It is likely to have surpassed the ₹30 crore mark at the worldwide box office.
The film has opened to a good response in Tamil Nadu as well. But details regarding the collections in the state are not yet available.
"Attarintiki Daredi" is doing fantastic business in key overseas markets including the US. The film grossed over $1.5 million within three days of its release. The film has been listed in the top 15 at US box office.
The film grossed $ 924,000 (₹5.77 crore) in two days including Thursdays previews. On Saturday (28 September), "Attarintiki Daredi" minted over $540,000. "#AtharintikiDaredi reported saturday gross in USA is 514k USD. This excludes two centers (Boston&CT) which is 35k - total is 549k $," tweeted Jeevi, editior and reviewer of Idlebrain.
The family entertainer is more likely to have crossed the two million mark by Sunday (29 September). However, an official confirmation on the same is yet to be made.
Pawan's film has already surpassed "Baadshaah" preview collections in the US. At this range, "Attarintiki Daredi" is set to rewrite Telugu box office records in many areas.
Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, "Attarintiki Daredi" has Bollywood actor Boman Irani making his Telugu debut. The film also has Samantha, Praneetha, Nadiya, Brahmanandam, Ali and Rao Ramesh in supporting roles. It is produced by BVSN Prasad under the Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra banner.
