Kerala has now turned out to be the biggest market for Tamil films. Following the trend of Vijay, Rajinikanth and Vikram starrers, the latest Ajith movie is also set for a mass release in the state.

As per the reports, "Yennai Arindhaal" would hit more than 170 theatres on its opening day, 5 February. More over the Kerala distributor of the movie KG Nair has decided to have the first show of the film at 7:30am at Shenoy Cinemax in Kochi.

"Yennai Arindhaal" is the biggest release ever for Ajith in Kerala and the numbers indicate that the popularity of the actors is going high with each release. The actor's previous big release was 145 screens for "Arambam" followed by "Veeram" with 110, "Billa 2" with 103 and "Mankantha' with 75 screens.

"Kerala distributor KG Nair through Shenoy Cinemax has taken a bold decision 2 start FDFS only at 7.30am in all screens. By starting 7.30 am across state, will enable uniform release, same day same time done by Hollywood across the world & helps WOM," tweeted Sreedhar Pillai.

The status of the movie in other states as well as outside the country is similar. Reports suggest that the Ajith starrer would be released in more than 1,000 screens worldwide and the advance booking of the film is going on in a brisk pace. Reports are suggesting that the first day's shows on all screens are getting filled soon.

Directed by Gautham Menon, "Yennai Arindhaal" is one of the most expected films of both the director and Ajith. This is the 55th film of the actor and the makers have claimed that "Thala" will appear in the role of a sophisticated cop, Sathya Dev.

Ajith will be seen in different looks in the movie, which showcases different stages of his life. Though the film has a character-driven plot, the film is said to have all entertaining aspects that are expected from Ajith Movie.
