According to latest buzz, Ajith's "Yennai Arindhaal" will have a record release in the United States. The movie will be released in 95 screens, the biggest ever for a Thala movie in the US.

The last biggest outing for Ajith in the US was for "Arrambam" with release in 78 screens. The distribution rights of "Yennai Arindhaal" in the country are acquired by ATMUS International.

Though exact number of theatre list of "Yennai Arindhaal" is not out, industry insiders expect it to be the biggest ever for a 'Thala' movie as the expectations over this flick is very high.

The Gautham Menon directorial, which is touted as a romantic thriller, is Ajith's 55th movie and is set to be released on 5 February.

Though the makers had earlier announced that the movie would hit theatres on 23 January, they later postponed the release due to pending post-production work. Industry insiders see this delay as a blessing in disguise, as the film will not have to lock horns with any other big movies that week.

The huge buzz around the film has also created an equal share of tensions and worries. Recently, Udhayam Theatre in Chennai had received a bomb threat, demanding not to release the film.

Meanwhile, promotions for the upcoming movie are progressing in full swing while as usual, Ajith will stay away from promoting his film.

The story of "Yennai Arindhaal" revolves around a cop, Sathyadev, played by Ajith. As per reports, he will be seen in two different looks in the film. This much-awaited entertainer also has Trisha Krishnan, Anushka Shetty, Vivek, Thalaivasal Vijay, Amit Bhargava, Rajasimman and Devi Ajith.

The music is composed by Harris Jayaraj, while the film is edited by Anthony and the cinematography is handled by Dan MacArthur. The film is produced by AM Rathnam and S Aishwarya under the banner of Sri Sai Ram Creations.
