The legendary fighter and wrestling icon, Hulk Hogan, who was not seen on World Wrestling Entertainment Inc (WWE) after the racism scandal, might return to the ring. WWE is apparently planning to bring back the wrestling legend.

Speculations about Hogan's return started doing the rounds after a WWE Network commercial featured the 63-year-old wrestler's voice-over. Also, when producer Eric Bischoff was asked about Hogan's return, he hinted that it can be a possibility.

"I'm not surprised. When the WWE produced the documentary on me, when they came out to my home last summer, Hulk was a big part of that documentary. The fact that he was in the documentary suggested to me that they were probably going to, over time, reintegrate Hulk back into the WWE content," Bischoff told Wrestle Zone.

"I'm not surprised. I'm happy. I think the fans want to see that. I don't think the fans are nearly as sensitive to some of the obvious issues as perhaps the business side of the equation is. Look, there's a saying, 'Time heals all wounds.' I believe it will."

Also, Forbes reported that of late WWE has increased mentions of the former world champion as compared to the time when the racism scandal was in the spotlight.

The fighter started his wrestling career in 1977 and was inducted into the WWE Hall of the Fame in 2005. However, his contract with WWE was terminated a year ago after his sex tape with Heather Clem surfaced online.

The former world champion used a racist term about her daughter's then-boyfriend in the sex tape that cost him his job. WWE had removed all references to him from the official website after the sex tape was released, but the recent commercial hints at his return.
