The 10th edition of the headliner-focused Wireless Festival was held at Finsbury Park in London from 3 to 5 July. Being the 10th fest, the organisers put together a special "birthday event" on 28 June

Although the event was meant to be the most spectacular one so far, a few fans were disappointed with the late arrival of rapper Nicki Minaj.

When the Wireless Festival Facebook page was updated with a photo of Nicki from her performance, an audience member commented, "How can you put this up when she showed up hours late! Most people left as we didn't know if she would even turn up! Sunday's Wireless this year was a disappointment."

Nicki was late reportedly due to "travel issues", and therefore the "Anaconda" singer arrived at the stage well after 9pm, though she was supposed to kick off Sunday night's programme around 7pm. During the long wait, a message was flashed on screen which read, "Special announcement: we are told that she was due to be speeding down the M1 from Luton Airport as we speak, but we have lost contact with her, we are hoping that she will be here soon."

Many even left the event, seeing as it was getting way too late, and the next day was Monday, a working day.

Nevertheless, her "Bang Bang" co-singer Jessie J came through for the fans, although she was still recovering from a recent surgery. "I didn't think I was gonna make it today and I got told not to be here, but nobody time for that. I can't miss shows in London," she told her fans.

The headlining acts were done by Drake on Friday, Avicii on Saturday and David Guetta and Nicki Minaj on Sunday.

Other artists who performed at the festival include A$AP Rocky, Major Lazer, Labrinth, Nero, Duke Dumont, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Joey Bada$$, Maverick Sabre, Fuse ODG, Krept & Konan, Lethal Bizzle, Klingande, Netsky, DJ Mustard, Robin Schulz, Bad Rabbits, Sinead Harnett, Ady Suleiman, Nick Brewer, Etta Bond, KStewart, Jessie J, Clean Bandit, August Alsina, Charli XCX, Wretch 32, Rae Sremmurd, Arrested Development, Grandmaster Flash, Shakka, Logic, George The Poet, Jacob Plant, Tove Styrke, Elliphant, Jaden & Willow Smith and others.
