Saif Ali Khan, who will soon be seen in the action thriller "Phantom", has reportedly rejected a movie offer from Salman Khan's production house.
After three back-to-back flops ("Bullet Raja", "Humshakals" and "Happy Ending"), Saif Ali Khan has joined hands with Kabir Khan for the movie "Phantom", which also features Katrina Kaif.
It has been reported that Saif was recently offered two movies--one from Salman Khan production and the other of Vipul Shah--but the actor refused the films, apparently because he has become choosy about the projects after the last three flops.
"Saif was approached for a Salman Khan production and another film that Vipul Shah is making. He has said no to both the films since he wants to concentrate just on 'Rangoon'," the Mid-Day quoted a source as saying.
Salman Khan's last produced film "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" came up as one of the biggest blockbusters in the history of Bollywood and his next production venture is "Hero", starring Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty. On the other hand, Saif Ali Khan's last hit film was "Cocktail" in 2012.
Having rejected Salman Khan's film, it is now for time to decide whether Saif's decision proves fruitful for him or the actor repents for it.
Saif's upcoming release "Phantom" happens to be an adaptation of the book "Mumbai Avengers", based on 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks and global terrorism. The film is slated to release on 28 August.
