Grimmsters, the hardcore fans of popular police procedural drama series "Grimm", are still not ready to accept the fact that they will not get to watch their favourite show after its upcoming sixth season.

Followers of the NBC drama used multiple platforms to express their disappointments on network's decision to cancel the program. While some urged Netflix to pick up the show, others requested the cast and crew to continue the series on any other broadcasting network.

A German follower of the fantasy series named Rebekka Hay filed a petition on change.org urging Netflix to pick up the show. The petitioner stated that majority of the fans believe that there are a lot more Grimm stories to show. She even expressed her disagreement with NBC for citing poor rating as the reason for cancelling the series.

"Many fans feared this was coming, as NBC changed the weekly air date to the infamous Friday night death slot. They do that often if they want to justify cancelling a show due to 'poor ratings', and hardly any show survives after a season on this slot, so a season 6 is already win," Hay wrote.

As of now, the petition, titled "Have Netflix pick up the show Grimm after Season 6", has been signed by almost four thousand people. The count is expected to reach five thousand in the coming days after which it can be send to Netflix.

Meanwhile, a group of fans have created a Twitter account, named "Team #SaveGrimm", through which they are urging the creative team to continue the show on any other popular broadcasting network.
