Ever since EXO member Lay began his individual activities in China, he has been embroiled in controversies mainly because fans believe that he could be the next member to terminate his contract with SM Entertainment.

Recently, the followers of the boy band lashed out at the Chinese-Korean entertainer after the South Korean record label informed fans that he will not be part of the upcoming Japanese concert due to his busy schedule.

"Lay won't be able to attend the 'EXO Planet #2 - The EXO'luXion - in Japan' which will be held from October 31 through November 15. Due to his promotions in China, the adjustment of his schedule was difficult. We're incredibly sorry to all the fans who were expecting to see Lay. This tour will be proceed with a total of eight members including Suho, Baekhyun, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, Sehun, Xiumin, and Chen. We ask for your understanding," stated the company through its Japanese website (via AllKpop).

Despite the official announcement and the Kpop star's repeated assurance on his commitments with the music group, some of his admirers became sceptical about his intentions. They expressed it through various social networking sites and here are some of the fan messages (via Koreaboo):

He's showing his strong will to leave EXO

I guess he's finally making his move to. Yes if you are going to leave it may be better to leave sooner than later

Just leave you feel like the same breed of traitors as them

Meanwhile, Lay's upcoming Indo-Chinese movie "Kung Fu Yoga" is reportedly facing some financial crisis after Indian investors withdrew their support. While insiders claim a delay in filming, Chinese production company Taihe Entertainment revealed that everything is going smoothly and the movie is scheduled to hit big screens in 2016, according to Soompi.

Other cast members to appear in the movie include Chinese action star Jackie Chan, Indian actor Jackie Shroff, Hong Kong born Chinese-Canadian actor Aarif Rahman.
