Despite being applauded for her performance in "Ek Paheli Leela", Sunny Leone believes that she won't be felicitated with any awards due to her past.
"I don't ever expect to be nominated or to win an award, ever, I don't. Because of my background and who I am, I don't think I will ever win it. There are a lot of people in this industry who don't like me and wouldn't want to see me win anything at these big events or fraternity or whatever," the actress said, according to Hindustan Times.
However, Sunny has also said that she is genuinely happy to see her contemporaries win awards.
The pornstar-turned-Bollywood actress spoke excitedly about dressing up and attending award functions with husband Daniel Webber. She has reportedly decided to socialise with more people now on.
The actress, who made her acting debut with "Jism 2" in 2012, has also acted in the hit film "Ragini MMS 2", which broke the box-office records in 2014, apart from appearing in cameo roles in many Hindi and South Indian films.
Meanwhile, the opening weekend box-office collection for Sunny's "Ek Paheli Leela" stands at ₹15.85 crore -- the fifth highest three-days total of this year.

Sunny also has handful of films in her kitty this year like "Kuch Kuch Locha Hai", "Mastizaade", "Tina and Lolo" and "One Night Stand", in which she will be seen in lead roles.
The actress has received accolades in the adult film industry, but will she receive any awards for her performance in Bollywood is something one needs to wait and watch.
