When Shah Rukh Khan Met and Hugged 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' Actor Karan Patel

"Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" actor Karan Patel aka Raman Bhalla is a great fan of Shah Rukh Khan. And, it is a big deal for any fan to be able to meet his favourite star.

SRK and Patel were working on "neighbouring sets" and the "Fan" actor told the TV star on Twitter that after getting done with his make-up, he would meet him.

An elated Karan took to the micro-blogging site to express his excitement about the interaction. He was very happy to meet the man he adores, but as it was a brief meeting, the superstar promised to meet Patel again on Thursday.

"Met the man i worship @iamsrk and SHAH SIR was gracious enough to welcome me with a warm hug. Will meet him at peace tomorrow n post pics," he wrote and added, "I promise a few pics with @iamsrk ... The man i worship, When i meet him again tomorrow, SHAH SIR was gracious to invite me to see him again."

However, the fans of the "YHM" star are more thrilled as most of them consider the two celebs similar in many aspects.

In other news, the TV show is gearing up for some twists and Shagun (Anita Hassanandani) is set to turn surrogate mother for Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) and Raman's baby. While the idea sounds interesting, the surrogacy angle hasn't gone down well with the viewers who have been protesting against it on social media.
