Gossip tabloid National Enquirer hasn't learnt a lesson yet, even after being sued by actor Charlie Sheen over Corey Haim rape allegation.

Recently The Enquirer came up with another report saying actress Angelina Jolie has a 'girl crush' over Cambodian human rights activist Loung Ung. And, the media outlet even tried to turn it into something scandalous.

Jolie's latest film First They Killed My Father is based on Ung's memoir of the same name. The duo first met nearly a decade ago when the Maleficent actress went to Cambodia on a humanitarian mission.

Years later, the Hollywood actress decided to adopt Ung's book for her movie 'First They Killed My Father.' The critically acclaimed movie, which drew flak for many reasons, released on Netflix in September 2017. It is also Cambodia's official entry into Academy Award's Best Foreign Film category.

However, the tabloid reports that Brad Pitt's estranged wife is now all over Loung Ung as the headline says, "Angie's Girl Crush Saves Her Life!"

It stated, "Sad and single Angelina Jolie has been brought back from the brink of death by snuggling up to a woman!" Gossip Cop debunked the entire story saying the actress 'was never actually on the brink of death.'

According to a dubious insider, "A once distraught Angie has given up on trying to win back estranged hubby Brad Pitt because a massive girl crush on collaborator Loung Ung has her completely sidetracked."

Moreover, the tabloid tries to put so much effort to scandalise Jolie and Ung's year-long friendship as the source was quoted as saying, "Angie has grown to love and rely on Loung. She says she gets her like no man ever did, even Brad. It's like they're joined the hip."

The so-called source went into more details saying how their friendship has "grown much, much deeper over the years." And, "It's as if she's taken Brad's place!"

Such implications sound absolutely surprising and false too.

"Angie has grown to love and rely on Loung," the source continued. "She says she gets her like no man ever did, even Brad. It's like they're joined the hip."

Gossip Cop is completely surprised to see such made-up story by the tabloid as they questioned about the credibility of the article.

Even we are pondering over the story. Has the war survivor really taken Brad's place in Jolie's life just because they are good friends for a long time and spent the last six months to promote the movie?
