As technology has developed and social media has gained immense popularity of late, people tend to share various socially relevant, funny or other types of videos on the internet.

From a Bengaluru traffic cop attacking an ex-serviceman for making way for an ambulance to the controversial BBC documentary "India's Daughter", many videos went viral on the social media within just a week into March.

"India's Daughter"

Despite banning BBC's documentary on 16 December Delhi gang-rape incident, titled "India's Daughter", in India, the video was uploaded on YouTube on Thursday, 5 March, and was viewed and shared by many people before it was removed from the website following government's request. 

However, the video is still available on the video sharing site.

"Ok Kanmani" Trailer

Mani Ratnam's upcoming romantic drama, starring Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen, is one of the most-anticipated movies of the year. The film's trailer, uploaded on YouTube on 28 February, received an overwhelming response with more than 2.5 lakh views within 1 week of its release.

After the first ad before Indo-Pak match went viral, a series of ads set the internet into a frenzy, and the latest one about the next match between India and West Indies has also been shared by many.

Javed Akhtar, Kirron Kher Nirbhaya Documentary Response

While the Indian government banned the airing of BBC's Nirbhaya documentary in India, there were a few popular faces who reacted against it at the Indian Parliament. Bollywood actress and Lok Sabha Member Kirron Kher and Rajya Sabha member and well-known lyrisict Javed Akthar spoke strongly against the government's decision. The videos went viral on social media.

Bengaluru Police Attacking Ex-serviceman

A Bengaluru traffic police was recently caught on camera brutally attacking ex-serviceman Nagappa, who removed a barrier to make way for an ambulance stuck in traffic. The video, posted by NewsS9, has gone viral on Facebook, with more than 2,089,916 people having viewed it within five days.
