"Baahubali - the Beginning" kept the cash registers ringing at the ticket counters across the world on Wednesday and its approximate six-day global collection stands at Rs 235 crore gross.

On Wednesday, "Baahubali - the Beginning" registered 100% occupancy in many cinema halls. On its sixth day, the movie witnessed around 10% drop in its collection as compared to its business on Tuesday. But the dip in its earnings is lesser than that of many big-ticket films.

According to early estimates, "Baahubali - the Beginning" has grossed approximately over Rs 20 crore at the worldwide box office on its sixth day in theatres, taking its global total to Rs 235 crore gross. Its six-day nett collection stands at Rs 160 crore at the worldwide box office.

Trade experts predict that even if it witnesses 10% to 15% drop in its business on Wednesday, "Baahubali - the Beginning" would collect Rs 15 crore to Rs 18 crore at the world box office on its seventh day. The gross collection of the film will easily cross the mark of Rs 250 crore gross at the worldwide box office in the first week.

With this, the SS Rajamouli directorial will beat the records of blockbuster Bollywood movies like "Chennai Express" and "Krrish 3". The per-screen average collection of "Baahubali" is more than that of all time highest grosser Indian film, Aamir Khan's "PK", which had grossed Rs 268.09 from 5,200 screens at the worldwide box office in its opening week.

Made on a budget of Rs 250 crore, "Baahubali" is a two-part epic movie with Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead roles. The first part of the film has turned out to be a big money spinner and its performance at the box office has exceeded the expectations of the makers.
