M Night Shyamalan's FOX series "Wayward Pines", which premiered on 14 May, will air episode 4 "One of Our Senior Realtors Has Chosen to Retire" of season 1 on Thursday, 4 June.

As of the previous episode "Our Town, Our Law" Ethan's (Matt Dillon) only real ally in "Wayward Pines" Beverly (Juliette Lewis) has been executed by sheriff Pope (Terrence Howard), who is using her corpse to invoke fear in the people of the Idaho hamlet.

Ethan keeps up with his attempts of running away from the town, even as ex-lover Kate (Carla Gugino) warns him against it. Ethan gets united with his wife Theresa (Shannyn Sossamon) and son Ben (Charlie Tahan), but ends up killing Pope, before he could reveal "the truth".

When the Burkes return to the town, they discover that Ethan has been tasked with a new responsibility -- most possibly as the new sheriff -- considering Pope is dead. His new post will come with reprimanding a "traitor" Peter McCall (Justin Kirk) for painting graffiti on Main Street.

Meanwhile, his son Ben is settling into the Wayward Pines Academy, where a teacher Megan Fisher (Hope Davis) gives him private coaching. Megan will teach Ben about the strange history of "Wayward Pines'.

Theresa is also slowly settling in the mysterious Idaho town, when she is offered a job as a realtor after "One of Our Senior Realtors Has Chosen to Retire".

Synopsis for upcoming episode: After the Burkes' run-in with Sheriff Pope, they head back into town to discover that Ethan has been named in a new leadership role in Wayward Pines. With his new role, Nurse Pam tells Ethan he must call a reckoning for Peter McCall (guest star Justin Kirk), a 'traitor' who painted graffiti on Main Street. Meanwhile, Ben goes to his first day of school at Wayward Pines Academy, where he gets private tutoring from teacher Megan Fisher (guest star Hope Davis) and Theresa is offered a job as a realtor in the all-new 'One of Our Senior Realtors Has Chosen to Retire' episode of "Wayward Pines".
