The trailer of Manju Warrier and Master Sanoop's upcoming film "Jo and the Boy" released on 18 December.

The trailer gives a glimpse of the theme of the Rojin Thomas directorial, and the film looks promising. It is evident from the trailer that Manju dons a never-before avatar in the film.

"Jo and the Boy" narrates the story of animator Joan Mary John (Jo), played by Manju, and a boy named Criz, played by Sanoop.

The film also has "D2 D4 Dance"-fame Pearle Maaney, Lalu Alex, Kiran, Kala Renjini, Rekha Menon, Sudheer Karamana and Sunil Sukhada in pivotal roles.

The expectations are sky high for the family entertainer as Sanoop had earlier mesmerised the audience with his performance in the superhit movie "Philips and the Monkey Pen".

Recently, Manju shared her experience in working with the child artiste and promised that his acting in the film would definitely bring captivate the audience.

While the film has been edited by Rahman Mohammed Ali, the cinematography of "Jo and the Boy" has been handled by Neil D Cunha.

"Jo and the Boy", produced under the banner of Goodwill Entertainments by Alice George, is expected to hit the screens in Kerala on 24 December.
